Boric acid suppositories are a holistic solution for vaginal odor. For use during or after your period, after intercourse, pre-menopause or during menopause, during antibiotic use or if you have an IUD.

DIRECTIONS: Insert one (1) pH-D Boric Acid Suppository into vagina as needed, preferably before bedtime. If needed, use one (1) pH-D boric acid suppository every 12 hours.

Do not use if safety seal is broken or missing. Store in a cool, dry place.

Boric Acid Suppository Ingredients

600 mg boric acid, gelatin suppository with titanium dioxide

What is a suppository?
It is a small capsule that is inserted into the vagina.

How do I insert the suppository into my vagina?
You insert the suppository like you would a tampon. You can use your fingers and push it up until you can’t feel it anymore.

What is the recommended amount of boric acid?
600 mg is the recommended amount of boric acid which is included in each suppository.

When and how often should I insert the pH-D suppository?
We recommend using one suppository at night. For extreme odor you can use one suppository every 12 hours. We would recommend wearing a panty liner, especially when using during the day as there may be watery leakage.

How long should you use pH-D?
Use the suppositories until you are odor free. If you are prone to vaginal odor, we recommend using 2-4 suppositories per week. Additionally, many women use our suppositories for vaginal odor during or after their period, after intercourse, pre-menopause or during menopause, during antibiotic use or if they have an IUD.

Is it safe to have intercourse after I have inserted the suppository?
We recommend refraining from intercourse until after the suppository has completely dissolved. This takes between 4-12 hours.

Can you use boric acid while pregnant?
Do not use if pregnant or nursing.

Is it safe to use pH-D on a regular basis?
Yes. It can be used for odor caused by: menstruation, intercourse, exercise and menopause.

What do the suppositories look like?
The suppositories look like a pill capsule. The suppository dissolves inside your vagina. The small size of our capsules (less than one inch) helps to minimize watery leakage.

What are the possible issues with boric acid suppositories?
Some women may experience mild burning or irritation. This may occur if the suppository was not inserted far enough into the vagina or if you have any irritated or open skin within the vagina. Women may also experience watery leakage, so we recommend using a panty liner at night.

What kind of gelatin is used in your pH-D boric acid suppository?
The capsule is made of bovine gelatin which dissolves rather quickly with the warmth and moisture of the vagina.
